Great DIY door screen kit solution…..

It has been 8 months and counting and the magic magnet screen door is still in perfect condition, no rips, tears, and the magnets still connect 100%.

My only issue to date is that the thumb tacks included with the insect screen door has started to loosen from the door molding, I am thinking it is because the door moulding itself is not that great.

With that said, I used a staple gun and added more thumb tacks so now the screen mesh is securely fitted. In addition FYI, I have just also bought my 2nd magnetic screen door.

    I am extremely happy with the high quality of this screen. It fits nicely and was very easy to install. I am especially pleased with the way it closes perfectly. The only slight problem I had was I noticed that there was a gap in the closure a few days after it was installed, and I noticed that one of the magnets had slipped down and wasn’t aligning properly. I solved the problem by pushing it back up and adding a couple of stitches underneath to hold it in place. No problems now and I would definitely recommend this screen.

    Love the product. I have one on my regular back door that works better than I expected, even with a strong breeze blowing. The stand out though is I bought 4 x 1m screens and joined them together to cover a 4m wide opening for my glass concertina doors. Absolutely fabulous.

    Bought screen door for our Aliner camper. Got the 70cm wide one and it is a near perfect size. Good strong velcro tape which is supplied and fits around the whole door opening. Worth the money as it is much better quality than the ones from the shops. Very happy with it.

    My family and I have gone through two other versions of this product,…..

    The XXXX XXX & XXXX XXXXX Instant Screen and in a matter of months they tore apart, but this premium magnetic screen door is perfect.

    We walk in and out of this screen on a regular day basis (I want to say about at least 100 times a day) and do not have any issues of the screen not closing unlike the other versions where you would need to check if your screen even close.

    I was able to adjust the screen, for our door width 750mm I simply velcro the top of the mesh, roll the sides together, use the thumb tacks provided, and done, the mesh door fitted perfect!

    As for the the length of the mesh I just simply folded a good portion of the mesh to door length and use safety pins and pinned a line across both sides of the mesh.

    I highly recommend this version of a screen mesh door

    This screen is more durable. It is more of a woven mesh and is easy to see (no one will walk into in without seeing it).

    The magnets work well to shut the seam. Even our dachshund has figured out how to use it. The door is not a one-size-fits-all. I did have to gather the screen in the corners a bit. I never expected a custom fit. Overall a good product for a good price.

    This is the 3rd screen we have had on our caravan all the other ones have been for a regular door so I had to cut then down to fit. This one was 70cm and made specifically for a caravan, I found it fits much better and easier.

    I love it and when this one wears out I will be coming back to buy the next one.

The screen is a little more expensive than those sold at Bunnings but worth the extra amount spent. The adhesive tape supplied is of good quality and sticks well. The screen is easy to install.
